No experience with golf or soccer is needed! FootGolf is easy and fun for all ages.
We offer group packages for outings, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, school field trips, as well as work place team building. Or just bring a couple buddies out for a great time doing something different.
Course is open to the public daily from 8:00 am til dusk.

Tuesday League starts September 5th and finishes October 10th.

Thursday League starts September 7th and finishes October 12th.

LEAGUE INFORMATION

Fall Leagues are open to all women, especailly players with limited experience. If you played last fall, or played in one of our summer leagues, you can use that handicap. Players new to the league must establish a handicap by turning in a 9 hole South Winds scorecard.

Format for the league is low net point system. Each league is limited to 24 players. Nines will be alternated each week.

League times are between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. You can arrange your own foursome or join a group when you arrive. No make-up dates for being absent. If league play is canceled due to weather, players have until 7:00 p.m. of that Sunday to get their round in.

Junior Golf Programs

The South Winds has been dedicated to Junior Golf for more than 40 years!

 

Junior League
Our Junior Golf League is second to none! Each year, kids from all over the area come to participate in the best junior golf league around.  Held from late June through the middle of August on Friday mornings, junior golfers play 9 holes and participate in fun contests that test their golf skills.  Prizes are awarded weekly. the season is capped off with a barbeque and a massive prize drawing. This years league starts June 29.

Junior Events
The South Winds is a proud host to numerous junior golf events.  We host our annual Junior Golf Scramble.  We are the home course for the Southgate Anderson & Allen Park High Schools Girls Golf Teams.

Junior Lessons
Our golf pro, Chris Grandy, has taught kids the game for over 30 years.  An expert at introducing boys and girls to the game, many of our former students have gone on to play high school and college golf.  Get kids started in golf.  It can have a tremendous effect on their life.

Junior Golf League

This years Junior League starts on June 29 and finishes on August 17. Open to all boys and girls, ages  8-16,  with at least a little bit of golf experience. Registration for this seasons league is now open.
